How have you all been? I guess I'm okay....had some major changes happen this week...and unfortunately it was a change that made me very sad....but I'll be okay.
Thursday when I went to pick up the girls from school (I had the week off from teaching) I was informed by the school Administrators, that they no longer "NEEDED" me.....!!! For those of you that haven't been following very long, let me catch you up to speed. This past summer our church decided to start a "christian academy". They asked me to help teach, and my dh and I decided to go ahead and put our girls into the school, and I would teach the preschool/kindergarten class. I love teaching, I've homeschooled my girls for most of their schooling, so this was a big adjustment for me to go to a "job" away from home. So needless to say...I put my heart into it, I did the best I could, and I've just devestated that they told me not to come back, especially being so close to school being out. My daughter and my other little student are supposed to "graduate"'...well my little girl won't be graduating anymore....please pray for me, because I am still very frustrated, and they really didn't give me any legitimate reasons as to why they wanted me to quit. I've called and left a message, in hopes to meet with them and talk this out. ...but I won't return to teaching, and I'm pretty sure we will go back to homeschooling next year.
On the upside...I guess I will have more time to "CREATE" fun and new creations! I'm excited about that!
